Kristie is a hero because she possesses an inner strength and level of grace that is difficult to find in people today. She’s a mother of a son which she raised successfully on her own, a role model of a daughter without a father or mother, a wife of a Soldier who puts her goals on hold for him and a country she loves, a nurse who treats the most needy in one of highest crime rated cities in America with sincere compassion and care – she’s a hero in the truest sense of the word.
